Hi! I'm having a question...
With Far 3, why when pressing alt-F1/F2 all hard disks wake up?
Also happens when entering any command on the command line, even though the drives that wake up are not in PATH. Can this be prevented? It doesn't happen on good ol' 1.7.
TIA

Add / Change Function key labels
I think this probably has been answered before, or maybe I am missing something, but I tried many searches and could not find anything related in the forum, strangeously. The question is how can I change/add text to the bottom function keys panel? For example, I have a macro for Shift-F7 to use the ...

Copy Folders with their Original Time Stamp
About four years later, I third that option. It would make my life easier when making backups. This is giving me a hard time, using robocopy via cmd line for something so simple as keeping the date of the original folders... that it even fails to do so. On Far I think this should be the default when...

Re: qPlayEx small file bug and suggestions
Maybe this clears it up:
Shift-F6 is acting exactly the same as F6.
F7 and Shift-F7 are OK.

Re: qPlayEx small file bug and suggestions
Two more tiny bugs: 1) On the Playlist, Shift-F7 moves the current song down, and Shift-F6 moves it up... OK, when moving it up it moves up but also starts playing and it shouldn't (Shift-F7 works properly :D) 2) When the Playlist is on the panel, if the screen saver starts it doesn't work properly ...

Re: qPlayEx small file bug and suggestions
1) Is it possible to make a quick fade-in/out when going into pause, playing or stopping? (Like with Winamp's out_ds.dll plugin) may be in future It would be great, just to not be "aggressive" with the speakers when releasing the pause at high volumes :D 2) Global hotkeys do not work for ...

Re: qPlayEx small file bug and suggestions
Excellent plugin! Two suggestions: 1) Is it possible to make a quick fade-in/out when going into pause, playing or stopping? (Like with Winamp's out_ds.dll plugin) 2) Global hotkeys do not work for me... how do they work? I configured Ctrl+all the numbers in the numpad to the different functions (vo...

FarMenu.ini - Hide command lines.
I decided to build my FarMenu.ini and have a (probably stupid) question: How do I hide the command lines? For example, I have these menu commands: everything -startup tmp:+full <es.exe !?$EverythingSearch$Everything Search?! tskill everything When I run the menu, underneath the panels I get: C:\Curr...

Re: Faulty virus report (Avira)
I agree, personally I never used an AV on my PC. The only infection I ever had was Chernobyl back in '99 and fortunately, I noticed I was infected a few days before the payload.
