Need shortcut for sorting entries in Screens dialog

Post by techie »

It seems it is impossible to sort entries in Screens dialog (editor F12). Is it possible to add some shortcut like CtrlUp/CtrlDown for this functionality? Is there an example of similar dialog in Far 2.0 that allows to do this?

The problem I'm trying to solve:
I've got an editor macro that makes switch to panels with Ctrl-Shift, then opens more files in editor. When I click ESC to close opened screens one by one, I expect to return back to the original editor contents, but instead I end up being in file panels.

Memorize the screens list number of the editor window you'd like to return to and then use it directly.

I close opened screens with ESC key until I finish being in file panel. At this time I can use Ctrl-Shift-Tab to switch back to original editor, but I want original editor opened instead of file panels after last ESC. Hope this makes it clear.
