Another crash in last beta (4548)...

Post by Mauro72 » Sun 14 Feb, 2016 14:45

Hi,
After update to last beta version, i have this error:

Exception: Language data is incorrect or damaged

Current directory:
C:\Users\Mauro

Command to be executed:
"C:\Far Manager32\Far.exe"

ConEmuC: Root process was alive less than 10 sec, ExitCode=1.
Press Enter or Esc to close console...

Trying a clean installation with the last beta, FAR run without any problem with Spanish language.
After many test the guilty (apparently) is the file "generalconfig.db" in profile directory. Deleting this file, FAR run but only
with english language (when i try to change to Spanish language same error: Language data is incorrect or damaged).
Any change? Last beta can't load the database of generalconfig?
I'm looking the *.lng line by line to find some syntax error...
Thanks!

You probably have several Spanish language files in the far directory (e. g. official and yours) and outdated yours is picked first.

Yes, you are right! A old lng (4546FarSpa.lng) is the reason.
Thanks for your help DrKnS!

I've added a file name to the error message to avoid such misunderstandings in the future.
