Hello!
Is it possible to setup folder specific File associations? -i.e based on current folder/path change the FAR Managers File Associations for Execute/view/Edit etc?
The current Insert file associations - seems to accept only file mask - not folder or path mask?
My use case is - based on my current folder, i want to have a different action for "Execute" (Enter) and "View/Edit" (F3/F4) commands. I analyze file samples that may be malicious and keep them in a separate folder - i want to change the file association for *.exe" only in this folder to open my Hex Editor instead of executing the file.
Thanks!

Well, it is possible, but not exactly as you want.
There is special IF EXIST command (see help).
So you can place files with special names as markers for your associations.

Thanks for this work around!
I created a blank file called ".dirty" in a folder and check for that file name in IF Exist - if present, my file association runs my hex editor else just executes a file
