Unix line ending

Post by sicvolo »

Is it possible to have Far default to using unix line endings (0x0A) when creating a new file (Shift-F4)?
This is important for running it under Wine on Linux platforms, which it does fairly well.

By using a plugin, for example [esc].

Does [esc] run ok under FAR 2.0, or has it been ported to 2.0?

Ok, kina hard to find, but I did see a discussion that it is "tricky to use" and the 2.0 port is not in a distribution (svn only?). So, is there an easy to use, accessible alternative to have Far 2.0 internal editor default to the unix line endings?
