Hi All,
I'm a long time user of midnight commander both on Linux and Windows, but I'm trying to make the switch to Far on Windows just because it's much faster.
Anyway... I have a couple of usability issues maybe someone can help me with.
1) When you find a file containing text and then view it, it doesn't go to the line with the first occurrence and highlight the text like MC does. Is there any way to enable that?
2) How do you find next when viewing a file? In MC you just hit the 'n' key and it goes to the next occurrence. Any way to do that in Far?
I can live w/out number 1, but I got to have number 2.
many thanks,
B

Shift-F7. You can also assign it no 'n' using a macro.2) How do you find next when viewing a file? In MC you just hit the 'n' key and it goes to the next occurrence. Any way to do that in Far?
