Latest post of the previous page:

A pity I missed the last DebugView installer, it is already gone.

Build 1807 is a recent stable, are you able to make a similar one of this?

Thanks! Is there a ticket I can track?

Not the one with the external debugging tool ... when I tried to install this, it worked without errors. And the next normal installer failed.

I meant the "SysInternals DebugView" enabled one in this reply, hoped that I could try a current revision with such a feature enabled.

DebugView output is enabled in every installer, not just debug version.
Debugging tool can be downloaded from Microsoft, it is called Debugging Tools for Windows.

I have DebugView running.

Is there any parameter I have to start the installer with to see any results?

Simply executing http://www.farmanager.com/files/Far20b1 ... 110203.msi left the DebugView report empty.

No additional parameters are required, empty report means no errors.

Well, then...

Far Manager 2 Setup Wizard ended prematurely

... because of an error.

And DebugView reported no error.

P.S.: DebugView is running well, I started VirtualDubMod and got several entries logged.

That means that problem is not related to custom actions. Or custom action cannot be launched for some reason.

It probably ended because there was an error with one of the custom actions the installation entailed. But for some reason, the error was not logged which would make it hard to be pinpointed. If you were able to install it under debugger without any error, then that would be good news.

I have been using far for quite a while now and did not ahve any problem with installation to start with.

Far Manager v3.0 build 3131 x64 will not install. I tried out two different computers, same error message:

Far Manager 3 x64 Setup Wizard ended prematurely

Far Manager v3.0 build 3132 x64 can be installed.

Far Manager v3.0 build 3131 x64 (Stable builds!) can not be installed. (Two different on machines.)

Why?
