FTP Transfer do not copy file ctime
I intend to transfer files from an FTP server to a local folder on windows.
I am using windows7 x64 utimate and far manager 3 4581 x64.
The files copied have correct mtime date, but ctime and atime get the current system date.
I am expecting three of them are the same as in original remote file.
Is this a bug or a functionnality?
When doing the same operation with Flash FXP, all of this is correct.
Otherwise, I noticed a somehow bug when comparing folders between local dir and remote FTP, under far manager x86 olders version (3.0 3900).
Whereas the files are stricty identical (same name, mtime ctime ...size), the manager highlights files as different either on left or right pane (not all files).
But no bug in x64 version.
I guess it's been fixed in newer version.
Thanks for your great job.

FTP Transfer do not copy file ctime
Which plugin do you use for FTP transfers: old FTP or new NetBox?

Hi,
I've found a bug in the session editor a while ago:
When I create a new FTP connection using Explicit TLS encryption I get the following error when trying to connect:
But if I save a new session it changes to 2 and stops working:
So the workaround is to export the session, edit and import back.
It seems a minor bug but very annoying.

This security scheme is not implemented
- Older saved connections work fine,
- If I change an older connection it won't work anymore.
Code: Select all
<Ftps>3</Ftps>
Code: Select all
<Ftps>2</Ftps>
It seems a minor bug but very annoying.

NetBox — SFTP/SCP/FTP/FTPS/WebDAV client
Hi. Dont know if this topic is still alive, but... can someone please tell me how to terminate\cancel\stop\or something an operation in NetBox(the regular Ctrl\Alt+X doesnt seem to do anything)?
NetBox + Private key file passphrase
Hi,
I have NetBox 2.3.0 build 436. I try connect to SFTP with Private key file with a password (only with user name, without user password). In WinSCP is -passphrase switch of open command. How I can set passphrase in NetBox?
P.

It would be nice of NetBox supports navigation from "Folder history" (Alt-F12). Or is it general Far limitation?

When I choose "Append" during SFTP session, the contents is appended to the end of file. How is it possible to "Resume"?ice_scream wrote:This error means that some function was not implemented in NetBox. Will fix in next version soon.pepak wrote:When I try to resume a file on a SFTP server (File exists. Overwrite? -> Append. Append to the end? -> No.) I get an error "Not implemented. Code: 300". Is it a limitation of NetBox or of the server? Is there anything I can do to remove this limitation?

I have found also a nasty bug in NetBox 2.2.0.427 for "Resume" for FTP connection. When I choose "Resume" and connection is interrupted, NetBox re-establishes the connection automatically after some timeout (OK), but then automatically does "overwrite" (wrong). So each time the connection is reset/interrupted, the destination file is reset and upload begins from scratch.

https://help.mail.ru/cloud-support/wishes/webdav/
*
********************************************************
wdmrc.exe -p1234 -l********@mail.ru -s********
v.1.5.13.0
yar229@yandex.ru
[1]: WebDAV server running at http://127.0.0.1:1234
net use Z: http://127.0.0.1:1234 ******** /user:********@mail.ru /persistent:yes
********************************************************
В Far-e+NetBox:
WebDav
TLS/SSL
127.0.0.1
1234
********@mail.ru
Error, code: 1003, message: OPTIONS of 'https://127.0.0.1:1234': could not connect to server (https://127.0.0.1:1234) netbox

In FileZilla there ise option "Preserve timestamps for transferred files".
How can I do it in Far, when I copy file to FTP then the file date will be current date, not the file modified date?

I've just tested in Far Manager v3.0 build 4921 x86 (2017-03-22), and file last modified date-time is preserved when I copy a file to an FTP server. And I found no option how this can be disabled. Which version are you using?

Ah, I don't know if that's possible in NetBox.
