Platform bridge plugin

Post by Anakunda »

Greetings,

I got an idae, while I lack some plugins which wasnot ported to new platform, to make a plugin which would be able to secondary load FAR1x/x86 plugins placed to it's own plugins directory and interpret their functionality with FAR of different bitness or unicode. I think it wouldnot impossible as it has nothing to do bidirectionally bridge 32bit and 64bit exports. Just to get an idea of loading 32bit modules and providing 32bit exports.

imho, such bridge already integrated to far2 (you can see 'A' letter near old non-unicode plugins in F11 list)

Is there even a way of loading a 32-bit DLL into 64-bit code or vice versa? As far as I know, that's impossible under Windows.
