SubVersioN file panel plugin

Post by LigH »

I wonder if it is possible to make a SVN plugin which is integrated into the file panels (left/right) like the FTP plugin.

Might be tricky because there are security aspects, you will probably not want to "accidently commit crap" by just copying ...

Thank you for this link.

A PlugRing search returned no matching result, only a separate subversion plugin; the PlugRing plugin returns no results anymore, is this feature dead?

What do yuo mean by separate plugin? Did you search by “Subversion” instead of “SVN”? See Subversion Client.

PlugRing has been reimplemented whereas the plugin hasn't.

Yes, I found exactly this plugin.

It is possible that I used a wrong assumption - that SVN could work like FTP, with a local directory in one file panel, and a distant directory in the opposite file panel. That seems to be against the philosophy of SVN, I believe now: Update all changes, commit all changes - not single files.
