Re: Far Manager v3.0
The dev team should use whatever language the majority is comfortable in...leads to better code in the end if communication is clear and everyone understands one another! On the other hand, it would be great if they could AT LEAST provide the plugin API documentation in English, as this is what most...

Re: Far 2 build 1148+ Warning for Plugin Developers
Thanks for the replies, never knew about the english changelog...that'll be handy :Yahoo!: I am aware that the SetCurrentDirectory is limited to MAX_PATH, and merely used it as 'quick fix' since I didn't know whether or not the change was intentional (or permanent). Knowing that it is, I can now do ...

Far 2 build 1148+ Warning for Plugin Developers
To all plugin devs: I have had two plugins (one of my own) break after build 1148+ (I actually first found it in b1151, but was told by someone it started in b1148). The reason for the "break" is that FAR no longer sets the current working directory of the process to that of the active pan...

Re: NameRe - Batch Rename System (FAR 2.0 x86/x64)
@ Maximus5 - I thought about it long and hard and finally decided to include an edit via internal editor mode in the latest version :) it is accessed via a separate entry in the plugin menu, and even provides some editor plugins to assist with the rename...also fixed the missing character bug. @ Kil...

Re: NameRe - Batch Rename System (FAR 2.0 x86/x64)
@ John Doe - i've never used those, but if u give me some details as to what changes need to be made (like a small example before/after file) i'll look into it - I'm assuming they contain file lists but am not aware of the exact format. I remember those from loooong ago ;) @ Centaur - no, this is su...

Do you mean a statically linked version (ie. non-dependant on the redist)?

Re: NameRe - Batch Rename System (FAR 2.0 x86/x64)
Go to config and enable the "Allow Folder Rename" under general.... Hahaha...so you ask me about strange messages by saying: "Why so strange type of message (all noun are capitalize)?" If u want to question my use of language, you should at least do it properly...try: "Why s...

Re: NameRe - Batch Rename System (FAR 2.0 x86/x64)
1. Had considered doing filenames via far internal editor (like Renamer in Far 1.x) but it's outside the scope of this type of batch rename tool...wouldn't know where to access it from within the current layout (another entry?!?). It should really be a separate plugin... 2. Damn ;) couldn't get the ...

NameRe — Batch Rename System (FAR 2.0 x86/x64)
A full featured batch rename plugin for Far Manager 2.0 Unicode. Description Instead of re-writing this I'll just quote myself, from the readme file ;) "NameRe is a batch rename tool that can manipulate the existing names or construct new name sequences. NameRe is able to rename both files and ...
