Copy Folder - Folder Date NOT to change
Just wanted to bring up that topic again... even though Macros are a solution, it would be great if there would be the possibility to copy the original folder date stamp with the Copy Options...

Alternative Hotkeys for use without a Numpad
My new laptop has no Numpad (and no special FN key for that reason), so is there a way to use the Numpad commands like "File Select (Gray +)" with an alternative hotkey? I couldn't find a list to edit them by myself... Thank you!

Re: Changing drive with Hotkey (ALT + F1) is terrible slow n
Ah, it seems my Bluray drive makes problems and FAR stops waiting for it,
I'll dig deeper into this... Thank you!
To make it a feature request: if a drive times out allow to stop this or
change the timeout value.

Re: Changing drive with Hotkey (ALT + F1) is terrible slow n
It's just two plain columns, no detail view - and this hasn't changed.
My guess would be there some drive error that delays maybe
(but Explorer doesn't stumble). Is there a timeout value or
an error log for such things?

Changing drive with Hotkey (ALT + F1) is terrible slow now
Not sure what was changed on my Win7/64 system, but now when changing drives with (ALT + F1) FARr waits/stalls for several seconds before opening the Drive Panel... Any idea what could have happened? I didn't change any hardware but had some software updates but I can't find out when it happened exa...

Copy Folders with their Original Time Stamp
This is something I still would find very useful - please add an option to
the copy dialog that Folders are copied with their original time stamp.
This would be helpful eg. to find project folders by date after a quick backup ...
Thanks for making FAR! Best

Re: Copy Folder - Folder Date NOT to change
Dear Igor,
could you please change the macro to change directory only if it's newer
than the original. Otherwise I would destroy the original time stamp if
I'm not looking correctly...

Re: Copy Folder - Folder Date NOT to change
Thanks Igor! This Script works now, but not for nested directories.
Please consider adding a "Original Time Stamp" option in the Copy Dialog for FAR,
this would be excellent.
Thanks, Rob

Copy Folder - Folder Date NOT to change
Is there a option that when a folder is copied, the copied version
has the same date as the original? With FARs defaults the folder
gets the current system date...
ExampeDir (1.1.2001) -> COPY: ExampleDir (8.12.2010)
I couldn't find the option in case there is one. Thanks a lot!

ALT + F9 on remote connections
In v2.0 build 1691[ALT + F9] isn't working when using far in
a remote desktop window, old 1.75 versions did work perfectly.
Best, Rob
