I don't see system.executor.excludecmds there
Use menu filtering: Press CtrlAltF then type exclude.
great - thanks

start command conflict - Windows vs MSys

Ever since I installed MSys, and it has a script that is called start, I can no longer use my F2-v menu shortcut to launch Visual Studio's shell: start %comspec% /k ""C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 12.0\Common7\Tools\VsDevCmd.bat"" Now whenever I press F2-v, I get a Windows pop-up "C...

Crest replacement

Sure. Sorry that I stripped all the comments, but I like my code clean: local F=far.Flags local editors={} local color = 0x5e local color1 = 0x5e local scrolllock=false function GetData(id) local data=editors[id] if not data then editors[id]={start=1,finish=1} data=editors[id] end return data end fu...

Thank you guys!

You're right.
But its like with the one from Visualizer - its always on.
Shmuel wrote:2. There is a Lua script by zg for LF4Ed plugin. It must be easy to convert it for LuaMacro.
I will have a look at it.

Thanks.

Crest replacement

I have this old simple plugin called "crest". When I am in Editor and hold down Shift+Ctrl, it highlights for me the line and column that the cursor is currently at. I got used to this feature so much that this plugin (it's binary I have) is the only reason I use 32 bit Far with 64 bit Windows. Is t...

Change in editor's F7 behaviour

Thank you - that works just fine for me.
Just added CtrlA, after AltO, so the picked word gets replaced as soon as I start typing
Cheers

Change in editor's F7 behaviour

In previous version when I pressed F7 inside the editor it would automatically put into the search box the word that the cursor is at. It doesn't work like this in the recent version anymore - I have to press Alt-O each time after F7. Is there a way I can setup a new far to have the old F7 behaviour?

The manual is only in Russian.
Configs are in English. :ha: Find “killspace” there.
Oh - I see now... Just had to add my extension to esc_sources.xml :)

Cheers!

Anything that removes extra spaces before end of lines?

I was wondering if you know any editor plugin that would remove extra spaces (and tabs) before end of lines?
Preferably also giving a warning when I try to save a file which has such unnecessary characters...

I hate opening my source files in vim and seeing such spaces highlighted in red.
