NetBox troubleshooting

I'm having trouble connecting to my rarely used web server. When I fail to log in, a log window briefly blinks and then the password box pops up in its place before I can read what is happening. Is there key shortcut I can use to bring up the log window so I can read it?

Macro to change directory in Far command prompt

Since Far Manager handles the CD commands itself, can I hook into that mechanism and define my own commands that run macros? I've never used Far macros, so I'm not sure what they can do.

Macro to change directory in Far command prompt

Oh it's really no big deal. I was just trying to emulate my bash stuff in the Windows command prompt to be consistent. I have a bunch of bash functions that cd to various places, but it's really not a very good solution to begin with. Far takes care of most of the problems cd'ing around, I should ju...

Macro to change directory in Far command prompt

How do I create a command to change directories in the Far Manager command prompt? It seems that the commands in the Far command prompt are being run in a subshell, so directory changes have no effect. I can use doskey macros to create aliases, but then I would have to run doskey manually to install...

Copying User Menu?

Where does Far Manager back up or save the user menu commands?

I want to copy them to a different computer.

Thanks!

Populating dialog field with current directory

129929 and the "Extract files to" text field is populated with "C:\Program Files\Far Manager\" Not exactly, it is populated with the directory of the passive panel, whatever it is. Ah right, the passive panel. 129929 can I make that default to the current directory? Yes, with a macro. But first che...

Populating dialog field with current directory

Hi all, I'm learning Far and I love it so far. Anyway... When I (for example) put the cursor on a zip file and hit Shift-F2, the Extract Files dialog appears and the "Extract files to" text field is populated with "C:\Program Files\Far Manager\". Is there a hotkey to replace that with the current di...
