Re: Missing binary in nightly build
Are the nightly builds located someplace other then http://www.farmanager.com/download.php?l=en now? The x86 versions are listed as "v2.0 build 1420 x86 (2010-02-25)" and "v1.75 build 2623 x86 (2010-02-25)". Both of those versions are older then the ones I downloaded a month ago....

Re: English plugin list?
I tried that, but it didn't seem to work. I'll play around with it some more and see what I can do, because I really need my plugins!

Re: File Not Found error
I have become so accustomed to a few of the plugins that I just don't know how I could get along without them. Some of those are; ctrldisk, Advanced Compare, Branch, Direct Directory, Visual Rename, and perhaps my all time favorite, Multi-Panel.

Re: English plugin list?
Well, I thought this was a good idea... Using Google Translate I can read the Russian forum now, because it's in English, but I can't download anything. If I click on a link to download a plugin it tells me I have to login first. So I log in, but then I'm taken away from Translate and into the Russi...

Re: File Not Found error
Looks like you were right; when I use Explorer I see a "®" character in the file name, which wasn't showing up in the error FAR was giving me.
I was going to try Far2 a while ago but several of the plugins I rely on aren't supported, so I haven't upgraded.

File Not Found error
Using FAR 1.75 build 2604 x86 on a Dell laptop running XP SP2, fully patched. Language is US English. I have come across several files in the same folder that FAR can't copy, move or change the attributes on, but it can delete them. An example of the full path and file name is this: C:\Documents and...

English plugin list?
The link about new plugins in the English forum is nowhere near as active or up to date as the one in the Russian forum. Unfortunately, I can't understand that language so I have a hard time trying to figure out what the plugins actually do. Is there someplace I can get that same information in Engl...

Re: Faster network access
Writing a plugin isn't something I can do, so I'll have to try your other suggestion. Since the Plugring is no longer being used where can I get the Emenu plugin? I don't know where the English plugins are any more.

Re: Faster network access
Plugins like bcopy and FileCopyEx certainly help with copies and moves, but they don't actually resolve the issue (which is slow network performance). And unfortunately, neither of them can make a difference with deletions. For example... suppose I connect to a network share and want to delete 1000 ...

Re: Faster network access
I do use bcopy already -- and it works pretty good too -- but that only makes it easier to copy files, it doesn't make it faster. And unfortunately, it can't do anything for deletes, which are also very slow. You said FAR performs "many additional operations on copy/move/delete". What type...

Faster network access
Is there any configuration setting -- or maybe even a plugin -- that will make FAR access network drives and shares faster? I'm a Windows administrator for a very large company, so I constantly have to connect to servers and shares to do some type of file/directory maintenance. If I try to copy, mov...

Panel update issue?
I'm not certain if this is a bug with a plugin or FAR, so I didn't know where to post this thread. I have FAR 1.75 (build 2556), and the issue appeared using the plugin "branch" (version 1.4). If I should post this in one of the plugin forums instead just let me know and I'll do that. Whil...
