"Apply Command" stopped working

Post by qwertysimo » Thu 25 Apr, 2019 18:08

Hi,

recently I have upgraded from Far30b4900.x64.20170221 to Far30b5354.x64.20190117 and noticed that "Apply Command" action has an issue in new version.

It looks to me that "Apply Command" action now assumes that all files in temporary panel are in the same directory. For example, if you use Find Files command to find some html files in nested directories, you place them to temporary panel, select them all and run Apply Command action with command "!.!", not all files are processed correctly. Some files will open in browser, other will not be recognized - see the FAR command line output.

For example if your temporary panel contains c:\file1.html and c:\subdir\file2.html, select both and Apply Command "!.!" on them, only one file opens in browser.

Can someone reproduce? Is this bug? It was working OK in older version and I have used it very often, otherwise I would not notice the change in new version.

Thanks.

Best regards
Boris
