How to save user filters for "Find" dialog

Post by atcrawford »

This seems like such a basic question, but I can't figure out how to save my newly added user filters, so they'll persist the next time that I run Far. They work like a dream when I add them, but they are lost when I exit Far. Am I missing something, or is this not possible?

Thanks for any help that you can offer!

The filters are saved along with FAR configuration. So you just need to either have the config auto-save option on or to save it manually after changing the filters.

Ah, that did the trick! Hadn't noticed that "auto-save" config setting before.

Thanks! :bojan:
