Wrong numerical sorting?

Build 3.0 5300, x86

Here's my folder contents - 6 folders.

200106 Folder 1
200400 Folder 2
200500 Folder 3
201203 Folder 4
201304 Folder 5
201308 Folder 6

Notice the 00 in 2004 and 2005 lines? If I remove these zeroes, here's my "sorted" list:

2004 Folder 2
2005 Folder 3
200106 Folder 1
201203 Folder 4
201304 Folder 5
201308 Folder 6

Any idea why would it sort so? Is it trying to sort "numerically", treating the first member of the folder name as a number? If so - how would I switch it off, if possible?

In “System settings”, is “Treat digits as numbers” checked? If yes, try unchecking it.

Halleluiah! Works as Intended. Thank you, saviours. I was sure this was a feature, not a bug.

Far is pretty much the first piece of soft I end up instlling on new machines :)
