1. Ctrl-R Panel re-read sometimes does not work for CD drives under Win98, if the volume labels of the CDs are identical e.g. with self-burned CDs. Works under Win2000, no problems with 1.70 build 2087. The file panel is not updated and shows the old content. If you try to list directory you get the FAR error message: "Invalid directory name. Cannot execute dir. OK"
If you press Ctrl-L for info view the file system info is blank:
Code: Select all

Memory load 20%
Total memory 267.436.032
should be like this
User name W.Ehrhardt
------- CD-ROM disk G: (CDFS) ------
Total bytes 719.486.976
Free bytes 0
Volume label NEW
Serial number FFE8-5098

2. Another problem with panel update (with both Win2000 and Win98): If the Tree.Cache directory does not exist in the FAR directory, after Pressing Alt-F10 and exit 'Find folder' window, the panel is corrupted (file names and colors).
Code: Select all
Original After Alt-F10/Esc Re-Read
