Macro sequence "F11 k l F9 l c" works incorrect when non-english interface used, must used "F11 k l AltF1" instead.
Thanks for good plugin.

PS: Also, if someone makes *.lng for this plugin, then hotkeys for Left/Right options may be changed (to russian л/п), and macro will be broken. But it not critical.

I found another way to set what panel to use, without "FolderManEx Disk/Left|Right", but it needs some changes in plugin code.

I propose to use macro like this (for left panel) -

Code: Select all

%%Panel="L"; %a=msave("%%Panel"); AltF1
This macro assigns value "L" to global variable %%Panel, then stores this variable to the Vars area. Then pushes generic AltF1

info about Vars area

Plugin must analyze key [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Far\[Users\USERNAME\]KeyMacros\Vars\%%Panel] before opening path in panel.

Can Drv.ShowPos help?
E.g. F9 Enter End Enter %n = Drv.ShowPos; Esc $Text %n

FolderMan — Quick Access to Folders

Post by Joco1114 » Fri 05 Feb, 2010 06:59

I have a 10 yrs old plugin named MyDocs. It is a simple, but very useful one, I can select My Documents folder from the "Disks menu". The problem: for some time past this plugin havent wanted to work. I get an error, see on this pic on
I know, I can use other plugin, or macros (Right Ctrl + numbers), but for some reasons I would like to use that plugin.
Please help! I have tried with Win7, WinXP, it worked with older versions of Far2 (v1060), but not worked with v13xx.

Thank you!

It can be configured to complete replace FarMyDocs + many other features

It looks like the plugin doesn't support environment variables in path. Could you please update it?
E.g. if %ENV_VAR% = mypath and in "Edit User Folder" I enter "%ENV_VAR%\dir1\dir2", it goes to "mypath\dir1\dir2"
Currently it says "Path not found %ENV_VAR%\dir1\dir2"
