Probably you may create shortcut with the command something like this:
it should not care about is it terminal or not, just open it full screen (=MAXimized)
Code: Select all
cmd.exe /c start /MAX "(whatever title, means nothing)" "%programfiles%\far Manager\far.exe"

In practice, if the opened (started) application is console-based, it really will get the title to it''s console.
With graphic windowed UI however, probably it still somewhere around, but not visible,
so doesnot really matter.
But you need to put it anyway, at least to prevent some bad end cases, just put empty string as in here:
Code: Select all
cmd.exe /c start /MAX "" "%programfiles%\far Manager\far.exe"
because the discussion is about,
will FAR get the defined title, as indesirable effect, or not?
FAR being console application, chances are it will accept the given title,
but fortunately, FAR override it upon started with own title.
and now look at this example:
Code: Select all
cmd.exe /c start /MAX "(HOLY GOD?!)" "cmd.exe"

From the second time. Those. You need to start the console from the console again.
