I have this odd behaviour with NetBox: When trying to edit a file which the user does not own, but has group access to (775), I get this error:
Now this is a pretty straight forward error message, you'd think. It's also documented on the WinSCP page: https://winscp.net/eng/docs/message_preserve_time_permUpload of file ... was successful, but error occurred while setting the permissions and/or timestamp.
If the problem persists, turn off setting permissions or preserving timestamp. Alternatively you can turn on 'Ignore permission errors' option.
So I went and tried to set the options accordingly:
...but the situation does not change.
So I'd log a session (list, edit, save) and when I looked through that, I was wondering if Far is actually picking up these settings (but of course I might be interpreting the log messages wrong)
It looks like the timestamp will still be (attempted to be) preserved which would explain why the error is still happening.
Please find the log snippet attached and thanks for any thoughts on this!
