When running some GUI application from FAR - for example, it can be double-clicking a video file that starts an associated video player, or it can be double-clicking an .sln file that opens the corresponding solution in Visual Studio - an unexpected GLib warning appears in FAR's console. After this GLib warning is shown, FAR's button bar (in the bottom) and the left part of the command prompt are not properly repainted until e.g. "cls" command is executed manually.
Here is one example of GLib warning (the process ID corresponds to Far.exe):
Code: Select all
(process:3876): GLib-GIO-WARNING **: 17:33:06.989: Failed to open application manifest
`C:\Windows\SystemApps\Microsoft.LockApp_cw5n1h2txyewy\AppxManifest.xml' for package
#43 (`Microsoft.LockApp_10.0.19041.1023_neutral__cw5n1h2txyewy'): error code 0x2
and here is another one:
Code: Select all
(process:4064): GLib-GIO-WARNING **: 11:15:31.512: Unexpectedly, UWP app `Clipchamp.
Clipchamp_2.5.13.0_neutral__yxz26nhyzhsrt' (AUMId `Clipchamp.Clipchamp_yxz26nhyzhsrt!
App') supports 41 extensions but has no verbs
Frankly, I have no idea what either of them means and why they are shown by FAR
