I installed FarManager on Windows 11 PC and I noticed that I cannot run external editor using Alt+F4. Instead of opening editor, FarManager closes. It seems like Windows 11 changed something so Alt+F4 does not reach FarManager any more.
Alt+F4 always closes current Windows in Windows except FarManager. Far used to intercept that key event and run external editor.
Is there something I can do to FarManager or Windows to make Alt+F4 work as expected?

Alt+F4 closes FarManager instead openning external editor
Hey,
It seems Windows 11 is handling Alt+F4 differently. Try checking FAR Manager’s settings to ensure Alt+F4 is still mapped to your editor. Also, update FAR Manager to the latest version and check if any Windows settings or other apps are interfering with the shortcut. If needed, use a tool like AutoHotkey to remap Alt+F4.
