Hello!
I'm using openconsole with FAR and noticed that I only can chose very few fonts available in the shortcut property options. How can I do to add new fonts? Installing monospace fonts in Windows 10 will make them available for FAR using openconsole?
Thank you!

FAR fonts
It's a question about Windows rather than about FAR. Please see e.g. this discussion and links from its posts.

FAR fonts
There are a couple of topics in Russian but I believe you can find some discussion in English of monospace fonts suitable for Windows console easily in the Internet.Epsteyn wrote: Tue 21 Dec, 2021 14:46 Is there any topic discussing the best fonts for FAR with higher resolutions?

I have several mono fonts installed that don't show normal border symbols. Is there any way to fix those fonts? Maybe an application that could substitute the weird symbols with the normal ones...

You have several options to address this:
- Fix the fonts themselves by adding the missing glyphs — search the Internet for tutorials.
- Use a fixed-width font that has the necessary glyphs already — like Lucida Console or Consolas, or search the Forum for fonts discussions (likely in Russian, so you'll need to use an online translator).
- Use an external wrapper program that will perform font substitution for the missing glyphs — likely ConEmu can do this (I'm not sure though, use web search to confirm).
- Run
far:configwithin FAR, filter forbox(optional), and edit theSystem.BoxSymbolsparameter to use only the glyphs that are present in your font.
