Problem with alphabetical sorting in file panel

Post by kamil »

Hi guys.

I have a problem with getting the files properly sorted by Name (or Extension) inside the file panels.

A file named "0a" always shows before "01".
However (which is expected) "10" shows before "a0".

I have a bunch of files that use a hex-encoded index-number as file names and they appear in a wrong order.
I always struggle to find the one with the highest index, because it is never at the end.

Is there a way to fix that?

Try Options -> System settings -> Sorting collation: linguistic

Thanks a lot!

It was already set to linguistic, but un-checking "Treat digits as number" solved my problem :)
